Bisabolol Terpene

Welcome Spaced Cadets! We have not covered terpenes in a while, but this blog will explain the benefits of the Terpene Bisabolol. Keep following to learn more about this sweet, soothing terpene.

Bisabolol has a few other names, such as Alpha Bisabolol or Levomenol. Bisabolol is a non-psychoactive terpene, and it is known for its soothing and therapeutic properties. It is categorized as a Sesquiterpene. Sesquiterpenes are colorless compounds known for their medicinal and therapeutic properties. The FDA considers this terpene safe as well.

Bisabolol has a handful of benefits in recent studies. Bisabolol has properties of anti-anxiety, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and anti-cancer. Some benefits that Bisabolol offers are skin health, nerve-pain reduction, and mood elevation. The effects Bisabolol is mainly known for are its soothing and therapeutic properties. It has calm and relaxing effects that are commonly used in aromatherapy. There was another study that showed it interacted with a neurotransmitter that blocked impulses to the center of the brain.

We have learned that terpenes are found just about everywhere around us, and so is Bisabolol. It is also found in cosmetic and dermatologic products. Other places to find Bisabolol are in German Chamomile and Candeia Tree. It is also found in full-spectrum CBD products. Bisabolol has a honey, floral, and sweet smell to it. Studies have shown that Bisabolol helps prevent collagen breakdown and minimize wrinkles and scars. Bisabolol helps by reducing inflammation and skin bacteria, which allows natural skin healing. These strains are high in Bisabolol, Headband, Killer Queen, LA Cheese, Sour Candy, and Hawaiian Haze.

If you want to help your skin be healthier, you can look for products that contain Bisabolol. After a long day, you could look for strains high in Bisabolol to relax. At Spaced Cannabinoid, there is a skin replenishment cream that has Bisabolol. Our budtenders will be more than glad to help and answer any questions you have!
